Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026 · applies to TrueBeliever 1.4.2 and later

Encrypted, and only for you. Processing happens on our servers, encrypted in transit and at rest.
Never analysed. Your prayers, saved verses and highlights are yours alone.
Never sold. Nothing is sold, shared with other users, or turned into a score of your faith.

This policy explains what TrueBeliever collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, write to privacy@truebeliever.app and a person will answer.

1. What we collect

Account details. Your email address, and the sign-in method you chose. Needed to restore your profiles and writing on a new device.
Your settings. The apps you chose to protect, your Worship Profiles and Focus schedules, and your spiritual rhythm from onboarding.
Activity in TrueBeliever. When a pause was shown and what you chose, how long you prayed or read, and which plan days you completed — so Your Journey can show your own history back to you.
Technical basics. Device model, operating-system version, app version and crash reports, used to fix faults.

2. What we never collect or analyse

We do not read the content of the apps you protect, your messages, or your browsing. Inside TrueBeliever, the words of your prayers, your saved verses, your highlights and your reflections are stored for you and are never analysed, scored or used for recommendations. The two guided-prayer answers are counted exactly as you tapped them and never averaged into a number.

3. Where processing happens

Your data is processed and stored on our servers so that Your Journey, your profiles and your writing follow you to any device you sign in on. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the few people who keep the service running.

4. Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your data to provide the service you asked for, to meet our legal and accounting duties, and — for optional things like cloud insights or launch emails — with your consent, which you can withdraw.

5. Who else is involved

Google Play handles payments and subscription status; we receive only whether your subscription is active. We use a hosting provider for accounts and sync, and a crash-reporting tool. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not use advertising networks or sell data to anyone.

6. How long we keep it

Your content stays until you delete it or close your account. When you delete your account we remove your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and billing. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.

7. Your rights

You can correct your details, or delete your account and its data outright, from Settings. Deletion is permanent. You may also ask us to do either at privacy@truebeliever.app, and you may complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

TrueBeliever is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we hold data from a child under 13, we delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how your data is used we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.

10. Contact

Privacy questions and requests: privacy@truebeliever.app. Anything else: the contact page.
